Courtney earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While in law school, Courtney was the Student Materials Editor for the Cumberland Law Review where she received the Outstanding Senior Member Award for the Cumberland Law Review for the 2014-2015 term. Courtney was selected by faculty to serve as a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow and was a member of the Career Development Advisory Board.

Courtney earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia. Prior to attending law school, Courtney was a Financial Center Leader and Assistant Vice President for BB&T Bank in Georgia and Alabama.

Courtney is admitted to practice law in Alabama, and is an active member of the Family Law Section of the Alabama State Bar. Courtney is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association and enjoys volunteering at the Domestic Relations Help Desk for the Birmingham Volunteer Lawyer’s Program.

Courtney has worked for Sandi Eubank Gregory, Attorney at Law, LLC for four years including two years during law school and two years since passing the bar. Courtney is passionate about helping people navigate difficult domestic relations obstacles.
